Everyone's home

Well, this may be the last post for a while as tonight will likely be the first of many poor nights of sleep. Thus far, Ethan has been a real doll giving kisses on the forehead, saying "I'm giving my baby sister a kiss because I love her."


Anneliese (below left) definitely looks similar to her brother (below right) but with softer features.

Getting close...

Well, we're all ready for the new addition. Ethan has been very enthusiastic about becoming the big brother including buying a present for the new baby sister. Accompanying his enthusiasm has been an increase in snuggle time...likely because he knew what was coming. This family portrait was shot tonight as the new addition arrives tomorrow!

Ethan's First Trip to Disneyland

Liz was a trooper and wanted to take Ethan to Disneyland though she's 8.5-months pregnant. I don't think she foresaw us staying there for 11 hours! We accomplished the whole thing without a stroller. Ethan was pretty good with his leashed doggy-backpack so we didn't have to keep an eye on him the whole day. We could of used a stroller around 4pm in line for the submarine ride because he was whooped but he really liked Nemo and friends so he was reenergized. He was a bit scared on many of the dark rides but never cried. Here's a video!

"That one's just like..."

Driving around town these days is full of car identification. Ethan says, "That one's just like [Oma's, Art's (our neighbor), Daddy's]." He knows the new VW Bug and Toyota Prius but with Audis, he recognizes the badge because he identifies every model, not just the A4 like mine.
