Liz and her Stroller Stride's friend are now co-owners of the Long Beach franchise! Even I will be getting in on the act with fliers, wear a T-shirt at the park, etc. Gotta get that revenue up so it can pay for a new minivan!

Big Boy Bed!

Well we took the opportunity to shift Ethan into the twin bed in his room having gone without a Pack 'n' Play or crib the two weeks we were travelling for the holiday. Car sheets, Thomas fleece blanket, and a bedrail and we're set! So far so good.

First Happy Meal

After training on Wendy's Kid's Meals with moderate success, Ethan got his first McDonald's Happy Meal in Ohio over Christmas and demolished the entire thing.

Christmas Recap

Ethan made out like a bandit this year with FOUR Christmases (home, Sacramento CA, Grand Rapids MI, and Cleveland OH)! We suspect that this could come up next year..."What do you mean we're only having one Christmas?" There was fun and fighting with cousin Maddie in Sacramento. Lots of sledding fun was had with Oma in Grand Rapids and we got to see cousin Marlea on her feet. I trecked out in the snow and got some nice sunset shots. We all met Grandma's new beau John and her new dog Bradley.

Well, we count ourselves lucky to have seen this in person outside Sacramento last Christmas because apparently the neighbors didn't think the $15,000 of canned food raised last year was worth the nighttime traffic in their neighborhood and threatened legal action this year (read more at http://www.lightupxmas.com/).
