What the kids are up to

Well, we're still waiting on Anneliese to start crawling. I've seen her shove herself backwards and do a Superman impersonation with arms and legs floating in the air while she's on her belly. For a while she's been saying "Dada", growls (learned that from Ethan), and long sighs (often following each bite of food if she likes it). Liz taught her to clap and say "yeah" which they do at Stroller Strides.

Ethan has been very into his space shuttle and plastic food that came with his kitchen. After just a few times with his ClickStart computer his mouse and keyboard skills have already improved a lot. He's become quite the sore loser with games which at this age are 100% luck with the exception of Memory. He continues to be very into dinosaurs and keeps learning from the various books and flashcards. He's able to repeat all the names including tongue twisters such as Parasaurolophus, Pachycephalosaurus and Struthiomimus.

Another funny thing has started since he and I had a discussion about where coconuts come from. I mentioned Hawaii and now not a day goes by that he doesn't tell us some story about how when he was in Hawaii, (fill in the blank).
